Terms of service

These are the terms for Manifold's account service and its plans — the parts that run on our machines. The program itself is covered by its license. Manifold is made by Nitzan Daloomy, a sole trader in Israel.

Who sells it

Plans are sold through Paddle.com, our online reseller and the Merchant of Record for every order. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles any sales tax or VAT, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.

Your account

An account needs a working email address and a password only you know. One account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done through it; if you think someone else has used it, change the password and tell us.

Plans

A plan is billed monthly and renews on its own until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings › Account › Manage: the plan stays until the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged. If the price changes, you are told at least 30 days before it applies to you. Without a plan you keep a free allowance, described on the Plans page.

Refunds

Any charge can be refunded in full within 14 days of it. The refund policy says how.

Your writing

What you keep, send or write together through the service is yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, deliver it to the people you choose and show it back to you. We do not read it, sell it, or use it to train models.

Fair use

Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to harm others, to share material you have no right to share, to overload or probe it, or to resell access to the model a plan includes. We may suspend an account that does, and will say why.

The model a plan includes

When you choose Manifold's model, what you are writing is sent to OpenRouter and to the company whose model answers, only to produce the answer. Its suggestions can be wrong; check what you accept.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and your copies safe, but it is offered as it is, without a guarantee of availability. Your documents stay on your own machine as files, and the program works without the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account, and everything it holds is deleted with it. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, refunding any time paid for and not used.

Changes, and the law

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date, and a change that matters is told to account holders by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
